Women's Enrichment Center Courses
4
The Women's Enrichment Center is a collectively-run education project. We are seeking ways for women to regain collective and individual control of the educational process and power to shape the intellectual life of our time to our needs. Our goal is to facilitate ongoing education for women which is widely available, informal, and closer to the needs of the participants. Our focus is to provide a supportive learning atmosphere in which women can develop themselves. As such, the Women's Enrichment Center offers an alternative to the conventional system of education.
Courses are led by women who see themselves to be qualified by life-experience and/or academic experience. Groups are open to all women regardless of age, race, or education. The Women's Enrichment Center was established by a group of politically active feminists who believe that this idea should expand the learning experience of women in the Greater Cleveland Area.
